On a rainy Monday night, Carson Wentz leads the Eagles in a comeback win over the rival Giants.

It was a terrible game. Rainy and windy Monday night in south Philly. The crowd had thought they'd seen enough with the birds down 17-3 at halftime. Boos rained down from the stands as the team went into the locker room at halftime. Then something amazing happened.

The second half was one of the craziest things I've ever seen. Sitting in the stands I could not believe what was watching. Carson wentz put the team on his back and lead the team back, but it wasn't just him. The Eagles defense held the Giants to just 29 yards and 0 points in the second half. Practice squad heroes like Boston Scott, Joshua Perkins and Greg Ward started making plays. Late in the 3rd quarter Carson lead a TD drive to cut the lead to 7 when Boston Scott punched one in. Then late in the 4th quarter Carson took them the length of the field. He made great pass after great pass. Everyone was contributing on offense. Then Zach Ertz on the goalie caught the tying TD pass and forced OT. Once the birds won the coin toss the crowd knew it was over. Doug called a masterful drive with Wentz leading the way. Then from 2 yards out, Carson found Ertz again in the back of the end zone to win the game. I have never been part of a crowd like that when Ertz scored. The Line EXPLODED with everyone highfiving everyone around them. It wasn't a good win, or a pretty win, but in the end it was a win. Now the Eagles are tied for first and look to control their own destiny and make a miracle playoff run.
